3 Must-See European Cities


Visiting Europe is something everyone should experience. The concentration of history, culture, food and shopping is like no other. They are many wonderful places to see, but a few cities should be included in the itinerary of all tours of Europe.

Paris

Paris is also called the “City of Lights” and is famed for the Eiffel Tour, wonderful food and wine, and stylish stores, to name only a few highlights. The famous Tour de France bike race ends in Paris with riders typically rounding the iconic Arc de Triomphe. You can follow in the tracks of the cyclists by taking a bike tour of the city. Paris is also a great place to party; there are many fun night clubs, bars and pubs. If you want to get a good dose of culture, there is no place like Paris. You can check out the Louvre Museum, which is considered by many to be the world’s greatest art museum. The Musee d’Orsay is known its outstanding collection of Impressionist paintings.

Amsterdam

Another great city to see during tours of Europe is Amsterdam. The nightlife there is world famous. You can party and people watch in the Red Light District and the Leidseplein. Amsterdam is also known for its beautiful canals and taking a canal tour is the perfect way to see the city. The world class museums are also top Amsterdam attractions. They include the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and Anne Frank House. A visit to Netherlands would not be complete without seeing a windmill, and there are eight in the heart of Amsterdam you can tour.

Munich

Munich, Germany is another one of the great cities in Europe. Its many beer halls are world famous and synonymous with Oktoberfest. There are numerous interesting sites in Munich including the Marienplatz, which is the central square, and there are many old unique and historic buildings to explore in its vicinity.
